How did it feel when someone asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” When I was little, I fell in love with life. I loved growing up in New Orleans and summers at my grandparent’s farm in Alabama. I love animals and people. I love writing and reading.

When I became a medical doctor, I got to direct some of that love into a career filled with wonder and excitement that continues to this day. I love seeing how beautiful my patients are on the inside and I love how my patients get excited when I show them a picture of how their insides are made or of how their body works. Credentials assure that a professional can make sense out of the medical images. Here are some of mine:

• Diplomate, American Board of Radiology
• Radiological Society of North America Scholar
• Certificate of Added Qualification, Pediatric Radiology
• Fellow, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine
• Fellow, American College of Radiology

What a relief it is to have the time and the resources to direct the rest of my love toward my own mind, body and spirit and assisting my family and friends as they take care of themselves! Remember how good it feels when you get to apply something from your realm of genius to assist someone you love? I am grateful to enjoy those feelings too. Other things I love to do are:

• Family Farming
• Scuba diving and snorkeling
• Listening to live music
• Enjoying live stage plays
• Visiting New Orleans

Enough about me. Let’s talk about you!
